European Respiratory Society (ERS)
The ERS is one of the leading medical organisations in the field of pulmonary and respiratory diseases. The constantly growing membership now represents over 140 countries worldwide.
One in eight patients dies from the consequences of lung disease – this represents one person per minute. The ERS promotes scientific research, encourages training and opinion forming aimed at raising the awareness of lung disease amongst the public as well as in politics.
Over 20 000 participants attend the annual International ERS Congress which rotates between major European cities. Since we started managing the ERS exhibition in 2006 we were able to increase the sale of exhibition space by 97% and the number of exhibitors by 74,5% by 2014.
