International Society for Human and Animal Mycology (ISHAM)
ISHAM is a worldwide organization that represents all clinical scientists and basic researchers with an interest in fungal diseases and fungal-like infections and aims to make the latest developments in mycology accessible to all. The organization particularly tries to help those who do not have sufficient means to participate in these developments, and therefore devotes a share of their resources to young mycologists and workers in developing countries. The International Congress of ISHAM takes place every three years. In 2012, Interplan organized the congress in the charming and very beautiful BCC Berlin Congress Center.
